Operating system tested on: Windows 7, 10
Programming language and minimum version tested on: MATLAB 2016a
Memory: A RAM of >4 GB is recommended.
Disk space: Depending on simulation system size, simulation output parameters chosen and output frequency count. For a general simulation on a 500x500 square lattice and a simulation frequency of every step output for a total number of Monte-Carlo iterations of 1E5, overall simulation text data output size of less than 1GB would suffice. However, size may increase depending on how image data is written to disk.
External library dependencies:
- If user chooses to take PXO output into further grain structure and texture analysis using MTEX libraries, then the user is required to install mtex-5.03 in MATLAB.
- If user further decides to export a complex finite element mesh to ABAQUS after MTEX processing, then the library mtex2gmsh is should be installed on top of mtex. It is the descrition of the user to check compatibility of different versions wirh mtex2gmsh
