Installing IBE Editor

Franck Velasco edited this page Jan 9, 2022 · 2 revisions

IBE Editor supports both Fabric and Forge mod loaders. Depending on which mod loader you are using, the installation process is slightly different.

  1. If it is not already done, install the mod loader you are going to use.

  2. Download the latest version of IBE Editor that matches the Minecraft version and mod loader you are using.
Files are usually formatted this way: IBEEditor-<minecraft_version>-<mod_version>-<mod_loader>.

For example, if you use Minecraft 1.18.1 and the Fabric mod loader, you will be looking for the latest file that looks like IBEEditor-1.18.1-<mod_version>-fabric.

Put this file in your Minecraft installation's mods folder.

  3. (Fabric only) Download the latest version of Fabric API that matches the Minecraft version you are using.

Put this file in your Minecraft installation's mods folder.

  4. You are done with the installation! You can start the game and the mod should be working.
