Language Support

An online Timetable Planning App must be designed with support for several languages. This support will have to be implemented at several levels and in different ways depending on content.

User Interface

All fixed content must be localized. Short texts for headings, button and messages can be implemented as language specific resource files. Longer texts can be created as markdown files, one English default for each topic with additional files for each language.

Reports

All content that will be printed must be localizable, except for names of stations, freight customers and operators. Especially, all instruction notes should be localizable, see Train Instructions.
