Rolling Stock Owners

When the timetable and the vehicle schedules are ready with requested types of vehicles, a request for vehicle contributions are normally sent out to the participants.

Online submission

Each participant should be able to submit their contributions online. Then, each participant will see what is already contributed. For example, if participant A already submitted a loco to turnus 33, another participant should also be able to submit a loco for turnus 33 as a spare.

DCC-Address

When submitting locos or railcars, the DCC-address can also be submitted, and checked for uniqueness for the specific layout. This removes the burden of having global adress reservation schemes.

Checklists

After a participant has submitted locos and wagons, they should have option to print a checklist containing:

  • The vehicles they promised to bring.
  • Where to put vehicles on the layout - station, and optional track number or staging area.

Each station owner also should be able to print a checklist of what initial vehicle setup to expect at their station.

Of course the administrator of the layout may print all necessary documentation.
