Map Items

  • Made the weapon spawn in the Kiddyland kitchen always be a shotgun.
  • Added an uzi spawn to the Kiddyland kitchen.

Ammo Piles

  • Added an ammo pile before the Kiddyland ramp.
  • Added an ammo pile after the one way drop by the event.

Hittables

  • Moved a dumpster at the start of the map to a more viable location (was behind the fence), providing a risky hittable option for tanks in the new area.
  • Tweaked the position of the forklift near the start of the map to be easier to hit.
  • Added a hittable dumpster by the slide.

Nuisance & Quality of Life Changes

  • Added wrong way signs where an invisible wall cuts through the map at the back of Kiddyland.
  • Added clipping to the bottom of the slide to prevent extreme ice-like movement.
  • Allowed infected ghosts to pass through the breakable walls by the one way drop.
  • Prevented players from activating the shooting gallery to troll.
  • Allowed players to take the gnome without completing the shooting gallery.

Props

  • Added a sign on the closed game building by the Peanut Gallery.
  • Added a hedge next to the gun table by the Peanut Gallery.
  • Moved the trash bins from the warehouse entrance to behind some tents for spawns and to help with the forklift.
  • Added a small fence cover by the warehouse entrance.
  • Added a concrete block behind the fence by the warehouse entrance to spawn behind and get over the fence with.
  • Added an AC vent on the warehouse roof to reach the upper part and for spawns.
  • Added fences to the Kiddyland train tracks.
  • Added extra trains to the Kiddyland train tracks.
  • Added a small pipe to allow infected to jump from the slanted roof into the room above in Kiddyland. The pipe is only solid for infected.
  • Added fence covers to the fences under the pill room before the one way drop.
  • Added a vending machine and boxes under the pill room before the one way drop by the slide.

Developer Note: This should make chipping tanks through the fence here more risky.

  • Added extra trains to the slide train tracks.
  • Added a hedge by the restrooms after the slide.
  • Added an AC vent on the restrooms roof after the slide.
  • Added a fence cover in the area before the carousel.

Developer Note: This will help with LOSing tanks after the one way drop, but also open up some potential spawn options.

  • Added a hedge by the stairs leading to the end saferoom.
  • Added an open tent with some concert equipment by the end saferoom.
  • Added a tent by the end saferoom.

  • Added some porta potties by the end saferoom.

  • Added a vending machine by the end saferoom.

  • Added some swans in the queueing area by the end saferoom.

Developer Note: Survivors now have to take a bigger risk to block spawns here by separating further.

Ladder / Elevator Attack Nerf

  • Extended the roof opposite the ladder to reduce unavoidable or unchippable spawns.
    • Only Hunters and Jockeys can reach the highest part of the roof.

Developer Note: The ladder choke was becoming far too strong for infected, especially due to specific boomer spawns on the roof that the survivors had no way of avoiding.

Particles and Visual Effects

Clips

  • Removed some infected clips added by the Last Stand update:
    • Opened up the area behind the closed ride in Kiddyland.
    • Opened by the area above and behind the end saferoom.

Triggers

  • Removed the trigger that prevented survivors from taking fall damage on the slide.

Ladders

  • Added an infected ladder on the other side of the wall by the game buildings.
  • Added infected ladders to prevent infected being stuck out of bounds around the Peanut Gallery area.
  • Added infected ladders to the various shelves in the warehouse.
  • Added infected ladders to climb up the sides of the kiddyland ramp.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb into the monorail platform area from the tents at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb on the slanted room in Kiddyland.
  • Added infected ladders to the opposite sides of the Kiddyland telephone poles.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb on the group of tents before the alley in Kiddyland.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb up the platform at the top of the slide.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb on the hotdog stand by the slide.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb over the carousel fence from the inside.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb on the tents above the button to start the event.

Starting Saferoom Rework

  • Added a food cart in front of the saferoom and an infected ladder to climb onto it.
  • Blocked standing on the desk in the back of the saferoom.
  • Raised the saferoom roof up to reduce spawn blocking potential, but also give the survivors more time to react to the spawns.
  • Added a sign and ramp on the saferoom roof.
  • Clipped off the pipes on the saferoom roof so they don't block infected.
  • Added an infected ladder to climb onto the roof from behind the hedge.

Developer Note: This should make the first hit a little harder to take, and require more interaction from the non-leading players. It will also reduce the power of running back here on an early tank to avoid hittables.

New Area

  • Opened up a new area between the warehouse exit and Kiddyland as a potential area to fight tanks and look for items.
  • Added an additional vent to the rides building roof.
  • Added a pistol / magnum spawn to the table near the entrance.
  • Added a potential pill spawn to one of the game buildings.

Carousel Room

  • Opened up access to a room after the drop by the carousel for survivors.
