  • The second band range starts at the first outside section, and ends after taking a few steps out of the elevator.

Director & Event Modification

  • The survivors must now call the elevator up to them, starting a panic event!
    • Press the glowing elevator call button to start the event.
    • The event lasts about 30 seconds from pressing the button to the doors opening
  • Removed scripted zombie spawns that fall through the windows at the end saferoom

Map Items

  • Added a single pickup Chrome Shotgun and Silenced SMG to the saferoom.
  • Added a fireaxe to the saferoom stairwell.
  • Added a single pickup magnum on the cleaning cart just outside the saferoom.
  • Added a single pickup Pump Shotgun and Unsilenced SMG on a table by the cleaning cart on the corner of the first hallway.
  • The melee weapon in the map room is now guaranteed to spawn.
  • Added a melee weapon to the room by the elevator.
  • Added a set of T1 weapons to the room by the elevator.

Ammo Piles

  • Added an ammo pile on the table in the map / conference room right of the saferoom.
  • Added an ammo pile to the room before the elevator by the sleeping bags.

Exploits Blocked

  • Blocked standing on the pointed pipe in the saferoom.
  • Blocked skipping the first floor by jumping from the left-side balconies.
  • Blocked skipping the first floor by dropping from the window by the elevator shaft.
  • Blocked skipping the first floor by dropping to the lower ledge in the outside section.
  • Blocked survivors from standing on the awning above the check-in desk.

Out of Bounds

  • Blocked survivors getting on the roof at the first outside section.
  • Blocked survivors from getting out of the map through the windows above the end saferoom area.

Stuck Spots

  • Blocked a stuck spot on top of the suitcase pile before the kitchen.
  • Blocked a stuck spot on top of the saferoom door barricade.
  • Prevented a stuck spot on top of the saferoom photocopier.

Nuisance & Quality of Life Changes

  • Removed the window by the elevator that can occasionally prevent death charges and ledge hangs.

Props

  • Added an AC unit in the saferoom for the weapon spawns and a potential SI spawn.
  • Added railings around the first outside section to reduce the ease of death charges.
  • Added a vending machine in the room before the elevator for spawns.
  • Added some vending machines to the banquet hall for some extra spawns.
  • Added drinks machines behind the check-in desk by the end saferoom.
  • Added a baggage cart by the end saferoom.
  • Added dressers by the end saferoom.
  • Added a hotel chair by the end saferoom.
  • Added a luggage pile by the end saferoom

Ladder / Elevator Attack Nerf

  • Solidified railings in the elevator, allowing players to stand on them.

Map Sounds

  • Removed the chopper sound effect during the intro.
  • Removed various sounds from the hotel burning and collapsing.

Particles and Visual Effects

  • Removed various effects from the hotel burning and collapsing.
  • Reduced the density of the fog and smoke on the ground floor.
  • Removed the contrast effect on the ground floor to improve visibility.

Clips

Triggers

  • Removed the push triggers around the fires on the ground floor.
  • Reduced the damage of the 2 overlapping fire triggers before the end saferoom to 8 damage each (from 10).

Developer Note: These fire triggers did far more damage than any other fire on this map. The damage was changed to reduce the chance of incapping a survivor here resulting a guarrenteed kill, but still keeping it dangerous.

  • Infected will no longer be killed by going near the glass above the end saferoom area.
